The ‘Big Titty (Tiddie) Goth Girlfriend’ meme peaked in 2018, and last week u/Cereal-dipper called his fellow Redditors to r/AskReddit’s brain trust round table to answer a question nobody has cared to answer, “What’s the male equivalent of the “big titty goth girlfriend”?” 

The post received 7,100 upvotes and 2,500 comments, most of which, were written by men.

While some users took a more literal route in answering this inquiry, offering equally macabre Dracula types – “A rich vampire,” suggested u/a_fucking_clown – and horny equivalents — “The big booby goth boyfriend,” added u/ azarbi. Others argued that the essence of what makes a ‘Big Titty Goth Girlfriend,’ a ‘Big Titty Goth Girlfriend,’ was, of course, big titties.

“The golden retriever himbo,” suggested u/pjk922, who then threw Kronk, from The Emperor’s New Groove into the debate, arguably the ultimate golden retriever Himbo.

“Kronk is the epitome of masculinity,” they argued, “he protects his friends, he gives back to his community as a (bilingual) scout leader, and pursues his hobbies even if it’s not traditionally masculine.”  

One Redditor brought up the obviously big-titted elephant in the room, the likelihood that the entire thread was full of men upvoting other men’s comments about what makes a male ‘BTGG.’

The answer is obvious.

There is no male equivalent to the ‘big titty goth girlfriend.’ All the classic hot guy tropes, ie., lumberjacks; vampires; and cartoons (really?), fall short of capturing the essence of the big titty goth girlfriend. The closest thing men have to the ‘BTGG’ is the 'NPB' (Nice Personality Boyfriend).
